Our Classes
Phlebotomy
with Renee Logston
Covers all the skills a certified Phlebotomy tech needs, including venipuncture, safety and biohazards. Prepares you for the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA) exam. Skill labs include a minimum of 40 live draws. Most will be conducted with volunteers during class, but ICTC will also schedule you for 8 to 16 hours of clinical time in area hospital labs and medical facilities. If you currently work at a healthcare facility, you may also complete live draws on the job at your employer's facility.
For the AMCA certification exam, ICTC charges a $25 exam proctor fee, which is included. AMCA will charge $109 for the national certification exam, which you will pay directly to AMCA and isn't included in the cost listed here. You will receive study guides, a practice app and more.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED/AHA

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED teaches participants to provide first aid, perform CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) safely and effectively.
CMA Update-CEUs

Earn 8 Hours of OSDH-approved continuing education. Renewal application and completion certificate provided. Prerequisite: Current CMA license.

Special Ed Paraprofessional

Prep to assist special education teachers with instructional and non-instructional classroom activities. The $65 Paraprofessional certification exam fee is included. If you are already OSDE Tier 1 certified, please don't register online. Instead, email joanna.hardin@ictech.edu to register and we will deduct the exam fee from your cost.
Hunter Safety Course
with Dart Drummonds
This hunter safety course will cover a variety of topics including firearms safety, wildlife identification, wildlife conservation and managment, survival, archery, muzzleloading and hunter responsibilities.
This course is 8 hours long. We will meet in two, four hour sessions. In order to take the hunter safety test, your child must be 10 by August 30th. Parents/guardians must know the last-four numbers of the attending child's social security number and be able to provide given birth name.
